Afandou beach is located 20 – 25 km far from Rhodes Town between Traganou beach and Kolymbia.
It is a 5 km beach with steep, deep waters and large and small pebbles.
At the end of the beach towards the side where Kolymbia is located, you can find some spots with more sand.
Almost everywhere on the beach, one can swim or sunbathe away from other bathers.
There are also spots with umbrellas and sunbeds.
Along the coastal road, there are a few tavernas and canteens.
Tips :
-Make sure to bring water with you, as the mini markets and canteens are far away.
-Bring water shoes with you if you can’t walk on pebbles.
